Zyvox is an antibiotic medication containing the active principle Linezolid, used in treating various health conditions caused by the presence of harmful bacteria inside the body: bacterial infections, skin infections, pneumonia and other ailments that are resistant to other antibiotics.
Available as pill for oral use or injection for intravenous administering, the drug needs to be given slowly, over at least 30 minutes, and used every 12 hours unless your doctor recommends a higher daily dose. It is proven that antibiotics provide a maximum effect when the amount of active principle found inside the body is kept at a constant level, so it’s extremely important to use the medication at evenly spaced time intervals.
Being given that this powerful product can interact with certain foods and drugs leading to increased blood pressure and intense headaches, it is not recommended to order Zyvox without talking to your physician before. Also, note that Zyvox is not indicated as treatment for infections caused by Gram-negative pathogen and using this medication inappropriately can lead to severe adverse reactions.
How is Zyvox administered?

What are the potential side effects of Zyvox?
As any other antibiotic, this drug can cause stomach irritation and digestive problems so it’s recommended to use it together with probiotics. Other possible adverse reactions induced by this drug are listed below:
- Unusual weakness and bleeding, bruising and pale skin
- Chills, muscle aches and fever, similar to flu symptoms
- Blurred vision
- Numbness or tingly feeling in hands and feet
- Nausea
- Allergic reactions including swelling of the lips, tongue or face areas
- Hives and difficult breathing
